EMC automotive – Branch Office Cuneo


The EMC Automotive unit of Tecnolab del Lago Maggiore located in Dronero (Cuneo), mainly deals with EMC tests on devices used in the automotive sector.

The unit is the secondary site of Tecnolab and consist of a laboratory for electromagnetic compatibility measures specialized in high power measures.

EMC tests measure the magnitude of frequency disturbances emitted by electrical/electronic devices and test their susceptibility to various types of electromagnetic disturbances.

Laboratory Equipment

Semi-Anecoic/Full-Anecoic Chamber, 7mx3mx3m size, frequencies from 10kHz to 18GHz.

  • Measurement of radio disturbances and radiations according to regulation CISPR 25

  • Bulk current injection according to ISO 11452-4

  • Immunity to impulsive disturbances according to ISO 7637-2, ISO 7637-3 and ISO 16750-2

  • Irradiated immunity up to 200 V/m according to ISO 11452-2

  • Automotive test, SCHAFFNER mainframe system in compliance with ISO 7637-2

  • ESD tests according to ISO 10605

  • Voltage transiente missions test according to ISO 7637-2
